Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist our surgical team in providing high-quality patient care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the surgical field, delivering supplies and instruments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the surgical field and deliver supplies and instruments as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide a cooperative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of scrub experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPR certification.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be willing to work with exposures to body fluids, waste, and chemicals.
  • On-call availability.
  • Rotating shifts.

This position requires the ability to move heavy patients and equipment, bend, squat, and kneel as needed, and stand for long periods of time. The ability to respond quickly to emergencies and communicate effectively with the healthcare team is also essential.
