Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in a dynamic operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of scrub experience or equivalent preferred.
  • CPR certification and Certified Surgical Technologist certification required within 3 months of employment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 35 pounds and work in a dynamic operating room environment.
