Foreman Underground Wet Utilities Specialist

At Boudreau Pipeline Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Foreman Underground Wet Utilities to join our team. As a key member of our pipeline construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of underground wet utilities, including sewer, water, and storm drain systems.
Responsibilities:- Control labor, material, supply, and equipment costs to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure all work is done in a safe and workman-like manner, adhering to BPC quality standards.
- Hold pre-job meetings with the Field Superintendent to determine project schedules and sequences.
- Verify that all work is completed within the Contract Scope of Work and obtain customer authorization for additional work.
- Monitor material usage and plan work to minimize waste.
- Complete the Excavation Checklist form at the beginning of each project and file it in the Foreman's Job Binder.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to return excess materials, supplies, and equipment from the job site.
- Plan and schedule job activities for the next week, determining the number of crew members needed and scheduling material deliveries.
- Provide supervision and direction to crew members, addressing performance issues promptly.
- Cooperate with other trades on the job site, respecting their work as if it were BPC's own.
- Monitor employee job performance, productivity, and crew size, adjusting as needed.
- Notify the Field Superintendent of available crew members for reassignment.
- Ensure only qualified operators run equipment and return rental equipment promptly.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's license with a good driving record.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with pipe laying methods, practices, and procedures for underground wet utilities.
- Minimum 2 years' experience leading crews in pipeline and wet utilities projects.
- Considerable knowledge of water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees and the general public.
$53.00/hr depending on experience.
