About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IP Design Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a member of our Physical Design group, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding PHY designs and collaborating with architecture, CAD, and logic design teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate gate-level netlist and various collaterals for physical design teams
  • Perform lint, logic equivalence check, static low power verification, Functional ECO, CDC, RDC, and leading collaterals between front-end design teams and physical design teams
  • Work with physical design teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality designs
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of VLSI design methodology, from RTL to sign-off, and familiarity with programming languages such as Perl, Tcl, and shell scripts
  • Collaborate with sub-block owners, physical design teams, and different engineering groups to ensure successful project execution
Requirements
  • BS degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge and experience in IP design integration and implementation with multiple clock domains and multiple power domains
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and interaction experience with sub-block owners, physical design teams, and different engineering groups
