Job Title: Analog IC Principal Design Engineer

At Skyworks Solutions, we are seeking an experienced Analog IC Principal Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mobile Solutions Business Unit's IP development team, you will be responsible for designing analog building blocks for our RFFE products.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop analog IP blocks to meet the requirements of various product development teams.
  • Generate all necessary collateral, including documentation and integration guides.
  • Update existing IP designs to serve the needs of various design teams.
  • Spend 50% of your time on direct product development of analog controllers, switched, and LNAs.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing analog IP blocks, including TIA, Bandgap, ADC, DAC, temperature sensor, LDO, and OTP fuse block designs.
  • Fluency in Virtuoso design environment from schematic capture to GDSII.
  • Track record of designs that resulted in high-volume manufacturing.
  • MS and 8+ years' experience in electrical engineering or similar field, or PhD and 5+ years' experience.
  • Layout floor planning and design experience.
  • Verilog-A modeling.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background designing RF circuits, such as LNA or PA.
  • Hands-on experience using analog lab equipment.
  • Python programming.
  • Proficiency in on-chip and off-chip isolation techniques to prevent digital interference.

We offer a competitive salary range of $124,400 - $235,700 per year, depending on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
