Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead our operational strategies and drive excellence across our roofing product lines. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of operational expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve workflows, and enhance productivity across the entire roofing product lifecycle.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, efficient inventory management, and effective distribution of roofing products to meet customer demands.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold rigorous quality standards for roofing products, working closely with Quality Control teams to ensure products meet or exceed industry regulations and customer expectations.
  • Financial Management: Oversee operational budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining a high level of product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Vendor and Partner Relationships: Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and partners to negotiate favorable terms, ensure reliable service, and drive mutual growth opportunities.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and key performance indicators to assess operational performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions that drive efficiency improvements.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in all operational activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • [X+] years of progressive leadership experience in the Building Materials industry, with a specific focus on Roofing products.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, process optimization, and supply chain management.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team development abilities.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
