Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, providing exceptional service and support to drive new business opportunities and retain existing clients.
- Transaction Processing: Process complex client transactions, including cash disbursements, money movement, account maintenance, and problem resolution, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Review daily department reports to ensure compliance with operational, security, and audit procedures, and identify and escalate any issues or risks to management.
- Knowledge Sharing and Process Improvement: Utilize knowledge of products, services, and internal policies to resolve complex issues and identify process improvements, sharing expertise with less experienced team members to enhance the client experience.
- Sales Support: Provide sales support to the team for market-specific special projects, such as event coordination, process improvement, and sales initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, identifying risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Team Collaboration: Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, reflecting the Wilmington Trust brand, and maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' financial service client service experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years' financial service client service experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong customer service skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with personal computers and pertinent software.
- Preferred Qualifications: CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and/or CTFA (Certified Trust & Financial Advisor) certification, exposure to and knowledge of the Bank's retail and commercial banking systems, knowledge of Private Banking products and services, trust experience, and ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
