Responsibilities- Fabricate orthotic and prosthetic devices with precision and attention to detail, utilizing optimum time management and cost-saving techniques.
- Independently demonstrate knowledge and technical skills to correctly fabricate orthotic/prosthetic devices, ensuring cosmetics, alignment, and appropriateness of trim lines.
- Communicate effectively with practitioners regarding devices, providing guidance to technicians as needed, and serving as a resource for innovative design and fabrication.
- Maintain accurate documentation in FabTracker and ensure devices are fabricated within deadlines.
- Supervise and assist technicians as needed, prioritizing work for fabrication sequence and providing orthoses/prostheses in a reasonable amount of time.
- Complete department-specific and facility-wide safety requirements, complying with safety programs and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
- 2 years of orthotics & prosthetics technician experience
- High School Diploma/GED required; ABC Registered Technician Certification preferred
