Blue Ridge Health is seeking a skilled School-Based Mental Health Therapist to join our Behavioral Health Team in Transylvania County. As a key member of our team, you will provide outpatient mental health treatment and services to youth in the school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth in the school setting
  • Interact with provider agencies and referral sources
  • Participate in team meetings when appropriate and requested
  • Education and support to the community

Requirements:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible) in the state of North Carolina
  • 2 years of clinical work experience preferred
  • LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
  • Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Experience in individual and group therapy
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus
