Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Manager to drive our growth and manage our On & Off Premises accounts in the vibrant Houston market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase brand visibility, distribution, and sales volume across On & Off Premises accounts in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Oversee and manage all On & Off Premises accounts in the Houston area, ensuring excellent service, product availability, and brand visibility.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, including bar managers, restaurant owners, and retail buyers, to secure placements and promotional opportunities.
  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the brand's presence in the market.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Brand Advocacy & Promotion: Organize and participate in brand events, tastings, and activations to increase brand awareness and drive consumer engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute local marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand standards and objectives.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, educating accounts and consumers on the unique qualities and heritage of our luxury vodka.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize results.
  • Manage budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources to achieve business goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the national sales team, distributors, and partners to ensure cohesive execution of brand strategies.
  • Provide training and support to distributor sales teams, enhancing their knowledge and sales capabilities related to the brand.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management within the luxury spirits, wine, or beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key accounts, particularly in the Houston market.
  • Strong understanding of both On Premises (bars, restaurants, hotels) and Off Premises (retail, liquor stores) channels.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Knowledge of the Houston market and established relationships within the industry are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel within the Houston area as needed.
