As an Operating Room Tech, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare the operating room for procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room, including disposing of biohazardous waste and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an operating room environment
- Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- Trauma experience preferred, but not required
- Travel experience preferred, but not required
