Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring positive experiences for all visitors and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Manage guest reservations, including handling incoming calls and processing both same-day and advanced bookings.
  • Allocate guest accommodations in line with established protocols.
  • Respond to PBX inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate personnel or addressing guest questions as needed.
  • Handle financial transactions accurately and maintain proper accountability for assigned funds.
  • Stay informed about hotel occupancy, special events, and other factors influencing daily operations at the reception desk.
  • Maintain positive guest relations, addressing complaints appropriately and referring issues to the right personnel when necessary.
  • Keep up-to-date with all company services and entertainment options available to guests.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data entry and 10-key operations is advantageous.
  • Experience with hotel management systems and standard office equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members at all levels.
  • Competence in using computers to access and input guest information.
