Job Overview

Mattel is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Jonestown Distribution Center. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair indoor and outdoor facilities, including equipment and machinery
  • Assist facility maintenance electricians, HVAC mechanics, and plumbers as needed
  • Set up and move office furniture, conference rooms, and other equipment
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Deliver and pick up items on campus and at offsite locations
  • Complete preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled
  • Respond to maintenance calls and make necessary repairs to equipment
  • Assist with snow removal and landscaping during winter months
  • Set up and tear down special events and trade shows
  • Maintain and organize furniture in storage

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse maintenance
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Nimble and able to think and act quickly
  • Familiarity with power tools and office safety procedures
  • Physical stamina to handle a full shift of activity
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to report potential hazards
  • Interpersonal skills to interact positively with employees
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice
  • Computer experience in MS Outlook and the internet
  • Knowledge of automation and robotics preferred
