Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop battery solutions for industrial applications, including industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks, rail equipment, mining equipment, and airline ground support equipment.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and technicians to create design solutions that meet customer requirements and company objectives.
  • Ensure that product designs are fit for purpose and meet industry standards.
  • Support projects for product development and product improvement, including conceptual designs for unique applications.
  • Provide technical assistance to management, manufacturing, marketing, sales, service, purchasing, quality, and other members of the engineering team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in a related field, such as engineering or a related field, and equivalent of 2 years in a related engineering position.
  • At least 2 years' experience with Solidworks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and differentiate colors.
  • Will to do overnight travel.
