Job Overview

PRIMARY ROLE:

The Associate Process Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production by providing essential engineering support. This includes diagnosing issues, resolving problems promptly, and enhancing manufacturing processes through design and redesign efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Identify and rectify issues related to the production workflow, which may encompass procedures, materials, controls, or machinery.
  2. Conduct root cause analyses and propose corrective measures for production-related challenges.
  3. Oversee the creation and execution of preventive maintenance plans.
  4. Initiate and develop process enhancements aimed at improving quality, increasing yield, and achieving cost efficiencies.
  5. Support the training of staff and assist in the revision of technical documentation.
  6. Monitor safety practices and suggest improvements to ensure a secure working environment.
  7. Lead projects focused on process enhancements as a project manager.
  8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as TOTO policies and procedures.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  1. Stay updated on technological advancements and enhance personal skills.
  2. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to optimize production processes.
  3. Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace by promoting effective safety practices.
  4. Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

ROLE SCOPE:

This position is responsible for driving process improvements across the production divisions of TOTO USA, Inc.

COLLABORATION:

Engage daily with engineers, management, and production teams to communicate process enhancements. Maintain regular interactions with vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Participate in relevant conferences and symposiums to share knowledge and uphold technical expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's Degree in Materials, Ceramics, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required. A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is essential. Proficiency in PC applications and software, including Auto-Cad, is necessary.
