We're seeking a highly skilled Child Safety Engineering Analyst to join our Trust and Safety team at Google. As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role in identifying and addressing emerging threats to user safety and integrity across our products.
Responsibilities- Perform complex data analyses to derive insights that help identify emerging threats and fight abuse across our products.
- Work with engineering stakeholders to gather requirements, explain models, and iterate to make improvements.
- Identify opportunities for the improvement of Google's detection and enforcement systems as well as for automation.
- Review or be exposed to sensitive or graphic content as part of the core role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Experience with data science, scripting language, machine learning tools, techniques, and systems.
- Knowledge of current abuse techniques and practices.
- Ability to work with a variety of engineering stakeholders to gather requirements, explain models, and iterate to make improvements.
- Ability to extract and manipulate high volumes of critical, product-related data.
- Ability to describe technical implementations or analyses to a non-tech audience in an effective manner.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
