The Off-Premise Sales Executive will engage with a designated account portfolio to manage our product offerings throughout the Long Island area. This role involves assisting in sales initiatives and participating in various company projects. The aim is to enhance the beer and non-alcoholic beverage categories within 7-Eleven accounts across Long Island, boosting the wholesaler's visibility through increased promotional efforts, distribution points, and account expansion. The Key Account Representative will act as the primary liaison for assigned 7-Eleven accounts, ensuring effective communication and execution among franchisees, suppliers, and the sales teams at Union Beer Distributors.
This role focuses on the Long Island territory, specifically at 7-Eleven locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with assigned customers to foster goodwill for the company.
- Ensure proper product rotation and adherence to code policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional 7-Eleven franchisees and district managers through regular trade visits.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Area Sales Manager to strategically position our products across 7-Elevens.
- Work alongside the Area Sales Manager and Sales Manager to create and implement strategies for achieving annual sales and volume growth.
- Travel to various account locations within the Long Island sales territory and participate in necessary meetings.
- Partner with the Director of National Accounts to create data-driven selling tools and presentations.
- Execute the company's marketing strategies effectively.
- Assist in managing supplier relationships as needed.
- Achieve quarterly sales objectives.
- Prepare and submit monthly control and review reports punctually.
- Ensure effective merchandising of accounts with permanent and temporary point-of-sale materials.
- Conduct regular promotions in accounts as required.
- Organize and implement floor displays and the placement of promotional materials at all accounts.
- Maintain a consistent schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the designated area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Success:
- A positive team player who is eager and motivated to excel and develop.
- A bachelor's degree in business management or marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Intermediate proficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft Suite, and a willingness to learn new applications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a solicitors permit.
- A valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to work independently.
