We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Patient Transporter to join our team at Pine Ridge Physicians Regional. As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from surgery, as well as cleaning and preparing operating rooms for surgical cases.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport patients to and from surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Clean and prepare operating rooms between and after surgical cases, maintaining a sterile environment
- Assist with environmental maintenance of the operating room, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment
- Handle surgical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained
- Perform technical patient care as delegated by licensed staff, including running errands to other departments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months of previous healthcare experience
