We are seeking a qualified Product Engineer to enhance our Wet Clean Optimization (WCO) service at The Mice Groups, Inc. This position is crucial for the maintenance of semiconductor capital equipment and involves the development of video procedures, validation of mechanical fixtures, and user acceptance testing of service software.

Position Overview:

Title: Product Engineer

Location: Fremont, CA

Contract Type: Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a high-impact team focused on the design and delivery of services to our esteemed clients.
  • Develop and maintain solutions while collaborating with field support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Participate in one of the fastest-growing divisions, gaining extensive knowledge of advanced etch and deposition hardware.
  • Manage timelines and logistics for new WCO service products effectively.
  • Conduct technical assessments for new maintenance procedures and address client change requests.
  • Work alongside senior engineers to clarify maintenance processes, especially in cases of limited documentation.
  • Collaborate with media professionals to convert complex maintenance manuals into engaging multimedia procedures.
  • Refine specialized maintenance procedure structures and enhance customer-focused packages.
  • Lead a team of media experts to produce instructional videos, images, and animations detailing maintenance procedures.
  • Design and evaluate hardware testing for components supporting equipment maintenance, providing detailed feedback to engineering teams.
  • Test and validate new software applications and features, identifying opportunities for enhancements.
  • Present project updates and outcomes to management in both formal and informal settings.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in mechanical design and proficiency in CAD software (preferably NX/Creo, but Solidworks is acceptable).
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to project execution.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation effectively.
  • A self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Experience with version control and document management systems.
  • Knowledge of agile software development, particularly in C++ or similar languages.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA or MATLAB.
  • Experience with video production and editing software is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and 3D animation software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Compensation for this contract role is based on market standards and may vary according to relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
