Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
Singing River Health System is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted Mississippi State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
- Minimum of one (1) year of inpatient clinical experience, preferred.
- Experience must be within the past five (5) years, or evidence of successful refresher program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BCLS certification.
- Specialty certifications, such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and others, as required by the department.
Working Conditions:
- Work is moderately active, involving sitting with frequent requirements to move about the office, move about the facility, and to travel to another facility within the SRHS service area.
- Work involves exerting a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Work involves using many physical motions in performing daily work activities; subject to exposure of body fluids, sputum and tissues, which may carry the hazard of infectious disease.
