Your Responsibilities:

As a provider, you will leverage your expertise in assessing, evaluating, and diagnosing audio-related health conditions. In your role as an independent contractor with Maximus Federal, you will utilize your skills to evaluate and diagnose audio conditions, thereby supporting Veterans' disability claims. As a certified medical disability examiner, you will gather and analyze clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews with Veterans, and in-person examinations. Your evaluations will culminate in a medical opinion regarding the connection between the Veteran's condition and their military service, ensuring that their claims are processed effectively.

Typical Workflow:

1. Receive Exam Request
2. Schedule Testing and Exam
3. Review Records
4. Complete Veteran Exam
5. Review and Submit Report

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Audiologist.
  • Possess a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D), Masters of Audiology (M.A.), Masters of Science in Audiology (M.S.), PhD in Audiology or Speech Language Pathology, Masters in Communication Disorders (MCD), or Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D).
  • Hold an active and unrestricted license in the state where evaluations are conducted.

Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time

Compensation: Competitive annual salary ranging from $98,000 to $107,000.

  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday.
