Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and safely operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI technology and its applications.
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required.
- Minimum one year of experience in MRI preferred.
- NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire required.
- IV Credentialed and applicable state license required.
