Market Access Manager

BioTalent is partnering with a leading healthcare consulting firm to assist pharmaceutical companies with product launch and commercialization strategies. The firm is expanding into the US and seeking a Market Access Manager to drive engagement success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of consulting projects, overseeing delivery, resource allocation, client relationships, and senior leadership communication.
  • Actively mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering their growth in general consulting skills, project-specific knowledge, and functional expertise.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying and pursuing add-on sales opportunities.
  • Assist in or lead proposal development and sales pitches.
  • Contribute to internal thought leadership and content development.
  • Participate in account teams and eventually lead the account process as an "account coordinator.
  • Support people-related activities, including recruitment, mentoring, development, and other internal company initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven consultancy experience: minimum 5 years in life science strategy projects.
  • Must be able to be on site in New York, 2/3 days a week.
  • Deep industry knowledge: advanced understanding of pharma, healthcare, and stakeholder perspectives (payers, policymakers).
  • Market access expertise: experience with market access projects and managing 3 or more projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills: effective written and verbal communication, including presentations, facilitation, and report writing.
  • Proven project management: superior project management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving: demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relationship building: excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive relationships within multi-disciplinary and international teams.
  • Client focus: proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, generating sales and leads.
  • Mentorship: experience coaching and developing junior consultants.
