Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Tech/Aide/QMAP/QMA to join our team at Primrose of Mt. Pleasant. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing personalized care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy.
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, social-recreational activities, and meal services.
  • Collaborate with the nursing department and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in in-service training and continuing education to maintain certification and enhance skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve exceptional resident outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Medication Aide or Assistant or Qualified Medication Administration Person per state regulations.
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
  • Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software and programs.
