Job Overview
The Beverage Service Specialist plays a vital role in crafting and delivering exceptional drinks and culinary offerings to patrons while ensuring an outstanding level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Anticipate and address customer needs to guarantee a superior guest experience.
- Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival, maintaining a proactive service attitude consistently.
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to both hotel guests and team members.
- Prepare and decorate beverages according to established recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Serve and present beverages to guests with care and attention.
- Verify guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Accurately process payments from guests, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
- Maintain and replenish bar supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and necessary accessories.
- Ensure the quality and proper storage of all beverage-related perishables.
- Handle inebriated guests with professionalism and tact as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Foster a positive and clean work environment that is enjoyable for both staff and guests.
- Deliver consistent service and quality products to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Exemplify leadership by adhering to operational standards and ensuring all tasks are completed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, particularly in food and beverage services.
- Participate in mandatory departmental meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of six months of experience in bartending within a full-service bar or restaurant.
- Highly motivated and energetic individual.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Results-oriented with a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
