Job Overview

The Beverage Service Specialist plays a vital role in crafting and delivering exceptional drinks and culinary offerings to patrons while ensuring an outstanding level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Anticipate and address customer needs to guarantee a superior guest experience.
  2. Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival, maintaining a proactive service attitude consistently.
  3. Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to both hotel guests and team members.
  4. Prepare and decorate beverages according to established recipes and portion control guidelines.
  5. Serve and present beverages to guests with care and attention.
  6. Verify guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Accurately process payments from guests, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
  8. Maintain and replenish bar supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and necessary accessories.
  9. Ensure the quality and proper storage of all beverage-related perishables.
  10. Handle inebriated guests with professionalism and tact as necessary.
  11. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  12. Foster a positive and clean work environment that is enjoyable for both staff and guests.
  13. Deliver consistent service and quality products to enhance operational effectiveness.
  14. Exemplify leadership by adhering to operational standards and ensuring all tasks are completed.
  15. Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, particularly in food and beverage services.
  16. Participate in mandatory departmental meetings and training sessions.
  17. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
  18. Safeguard confidential information and protect company assets.
  19. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the objectives of Nhshotels.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of six months of experience in bartending within a full-service bar or restaurant.
  • Highly motivated and energetic individual.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts.
