About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the C&RS Sales Team, a focused and dynamic team focused on growing the C&RS business including Credit Solutions (RatingsDirect and RatingsXpress), Risk Solutions (including Credit Analytics, Scorecards and Analytical Services) and Third Party Risk (KY3P and Supplier Risk Indicators).
The C&RS Sales Team are supported by a team of Pre Sales Engineers to provide deep subject matter expertise to support renewal and new business conversations.
Responsibilities and Impact:
The C&RS business has a strategic plan to be a $1Billion business globally by 2026 and is a significant contributor to the overall growth of the Market Intelligence (MI) Division.
C&RS has senior executive commitment to invest where needed to fuel this growth.
We are at the forefront of solving new challenges for clients as the market and regulatory landscape continues to change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet Team growth goal / quota which can be achieved through renewing and growing a book of existing C&RS business and / or selling new C&RS products into Greenfield C&RS clients and / or selling the C&RS suite to C&RS white space clients (ie those with no existing relationship with the C&RS Business) and / or Finding new redistribution and other partnerships to drive C&RS revenue
- Build and execute on Territory strategy and identify opportunities for growth and expansion, driving execution by your team on a variety of campaigns and other tactics to capture those opportunities
- Collaborate with Market Development, Prospecting and Marketing to design and maximize campaign reach and effectiveness
- Reinforce structured and disciplined approach to tracking activity, pipeline accuracy and forecasting
- Reinforce a customer focused, diagnostic selling approach
- Support your team as they Identify and develop revenue synergy and cross-sell opportunities and track team performance against these objectives
- Be seen as a credit expert amongst your peers and clients, and support your team as they continue to build and maintain a knowledge of current industry and economic events impacting our clients and the relevance of our products
- Partner closely with your peers in important stakeholder teams such as Product Management, Market Development, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal and Client Support
What We're Looking For:
The C&RS sales organization value partnership, relationships and communication. It is crucial that you model these attributes.
A strong commercial mindset. Prior experience managing teams of sellers in particular related to selling solutions to credit and risk personas.
Strong communication, organization, presentation, and negotiation skills. Confidence leading internal and external meetings
Creative thinking and problem solving to drive solutions that address client needs with the C&RS suite of solutions
Collaboration with sales teams and other stakeholders across the C&RS business and across Market Intelligence to identify and drive synergy and cross sell opportunities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
Seven + years relevant experience
Highly proficient in MS Office and using CRM systems
