Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently operates shuttle vehicles, providing timely service to all passengers.
  • Welcomes customers aboard with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Stops at designated locations to facilitate the loading and unloading of passengers.
  • Informs passengers of relevant rules and regulations as necessary.
  • Conducts thorough inspections of the shuttle to ensure safety and reports any issues to management.
  • Performs required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintains the vehicle's cleanliness and appearance, alerting management of any maintenance needs.
  • Adheres to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
  • Creates a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Fosters positive customer relations by delivering outstanding service with a proactive attitude.
  • Maintains a professional appearance in line with customer service standards.
  • Ensures confidentiality of all work-related information in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.
  • Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Current Medical Examiner's Certificate is required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of background and drug screenings is mandatory.
  • Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Compliance with immunization or health screening requirements is necessary.
  • Knowledge of operating various types of passenger vans is essential.
  • Demonstrated professionalism with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to customer service excellence and attention to detail is crucial.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, wind, rain, and snow.
  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to push and pull wheelchairs weighing between 100 to 350 pounds frequently over considerable distances.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and varied schedules as needed.
