Job Overview

The Guest Services Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This position is responsible for managing the bell station, greeting guests, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and supporting the front desk team with various tasks.

  • Open and close vehicle doors for guests with courtesy.
  • Manage guest luggage for both short and extended stays.
  • Assist guests in storing and retrieving their luggage, including from their vehicles when requested.
  • Utilize bell carts for the efficient transfer of luggage and packages to and from rooms and vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the lobby station and baggage area.
  • Ensure the lobby and hotel exterior/interior are tidy by picking up litter and adjusting furniture as needed.
  • Stand ready to assist guests, offering a warm welcome as they arrive.
  • Provide travel directions and recommendations for local attractions and dining options.
  • Answer phone calls to assist with guest inquiries.
  • Restock supplies at the front desk and business center as necessary.
  • Promptly report any emergencies, accidents, or safety hazards to management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures consistently.
  • Follow safety and security protocols diligently.
  • Be knowledgeable about fire prevention and emergency procedures.
  • Utilize protective equipment as required.
  • Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety rules.
  • Collaborate with other front desk personnel as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications
