Position Overview:

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled CT Imaging Specialist to enhance our client's healthcare team. This role offers competitive compensation, excellent leadership, and accessible housing alternatives.

As a pivotal member of the imaging department, you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to provide outstanding imaging services, including CT scans, ultrasound, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Your primary duties will involve executing all imaging and clinical tasks associated with CT technology, performing specialized imaging techniques, and assisting Radiologists during interventional procedures that require CT guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting orders from physicians or other authorized medical professionals.
  • Providing clear explanations of the CT scanning process to patients.
  • Accurately positioning patients to capture necessary images.
  • Administering contrast dyes through IVs to enhance imaging quality.
  • Reviewing images to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Updating and maintaining patient medical records.
  • Cleaning and ensuring the proper maintenance of CT scanning equipment.
  • Managing inventory of CT supplies and placing orders for restocking as needed.
Qualifications Required:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Certifications:
    • Current Basic Life Support certification.
    • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
    • Certification from the Texas Department of State Health.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role.
