Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours. As the primary point of contact for guests, the Night Auditor must possess excellent communication skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and respond to guests' needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times, resolving any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Process guest check-ins, verifying registration information and handling overbooked or 'walked' guests.
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests, communicating pertinent guest information to designated departments.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with housekeeping and train with Food and Beverage operations to fill in as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a front desk agent or in a similar role.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Experience working at a hotel establishment (highly desired).
  • Flexible schedule to work 11pm to 7am shifts.
  • Proficiency with computers and basic math skills.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • The ability to input and access information in the property management system and/or points-of-sale system.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to create a fun and supportive working environment.
