Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aquatics Technician to join our team at Great Wolf Lodge. As a key member of our waterpark operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aquatic equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on waterpark equipment, including pools, pumps, motors, and slides
  • Conduct daily inspections of waterpark mechanical systems and attractions, and perform general maintenance and repairs as necessary
  • Document maintenance actions, including system or equipment irregularities that require monitoring
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safe operation of the waterpark area, including vacuuming pools and power-washing floors as needed
  • Conduct daily water testing and adjust chemical treatments as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with park management, lifeguards, and guests to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or aquatics maintenance
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and waterpark mechanical operations
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) license
  • Expertise in hands-on equipment maintenance

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist
  • Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Able to climb multiple flights of stairs on a daily basis and walk frequently
