Job Summary:We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic academic instructors to lead a comprehensive Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum at elementary and middle school locations. In this role, you will engage students through interactive activities that foster self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making, while also integrating literacy and promoting an inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute captivating lesson plans tailored to diverse academic levels.
- Set and achieve academic and social-emotional objectives with students.
- Track student progress and maintain effective communication with parents and staff.
- Foster a supportive and motivating educational environment.
- Ensure the classroom/work area is organized and well-maintained.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience (experience with SEL programs preferred).
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.
- A positive, energetic demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for education.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Experience working with diverse learners, including those with ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and gifted students (experience with neurodiverse students is advantageous).
- Patience and empathy to assist students facing various academic and personal challenges.
- Respect for students' cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Completion of Mandated Reporting training.
- Strong references.
- Commitment to the position from August to December.
