Helio Health is a leading provider of substance use and mental health treatment services. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an On-Call nurse in Binghamton, NY.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of clinical settings, providing medical and counseling services as a member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team. This is an On-Call position, requiring flexibility and a willingness to work a variety of shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical services to clients, including assessment, implementation of medical orders, and communicable and infectious disease reporting.
  • Monitor and document clients' medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and report to supervisor or medical director.
  • Work with other medical staff to ensure continuity of clients' medical care.
  • Communicate with clinical staff regarding clients' medical concerns.
  • Provide direct client care, including medical assessment, examination, and treatment planning.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York.
  • Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
