We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a Professional Track Teaching Faculty Position in Structural Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. This is a full-time, non-tenure-line position that will involve teaching courses related to structural engineering and geotechnical engineering topics.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in structural engineering and related geotechnical engineering topics
- Contribute to the department through service, such as advising student organizations and serving on department committees
The successful candidate will have design-related experience and hold a master's or doctoral degree in civil engineering or a closely related field. In addition, candidates should be licensed or candidates for licensure as a professional engineer (P.E.) and have demonstrated teaching experience through academic courses, professional conference presentations, or related activities.
