About the Role

Grady Health System is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our NICU/Neonatal Transport team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to critically ill newborns and infants.

Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory care and critical care functions under the supervision of physician orders.
  • Work collaboratively with the NICU/Neonatal Transport team to provide seamless care to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • A.S. Degree in Respiratory Care.
  • Registered Therapist credentials by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Licensed by the State of Georgia.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse care providers.
  • Current BLS certification.
