Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer aerosolized medications and provide medical gases to patients
  • Perform pulmonary function testing, including spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusing capacity
  • Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation as part of a multidisciplinary code team
  • Provide education and consultation services to patients and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills through continuing education programs
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Active unencumbered Respiratory Therapist state license
  • Minimum of two years of current Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Respiratory Therapist program
  • One year of Epic experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Strong technical skills and ability to work independently
