Job Title: Case Management Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Case Management Nurse to join our team at Examinetics Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and managing workers' compensation claims, working closely with healthcare providers, employers, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze medical records to evaluate for appropriate treatment
  • Work with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain additional documentation or information required for case progression
  • Provide education and guidance to employees and employers about treatment options, resources, and care processes
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions with all parties, including employer, employee, providers, insurance agents, and other key stakeholders
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care
  • Provide reports to employers with updates on the current status of cases
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of case management processes

Requirements:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
  • Either a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Proven experience in case management, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of OSHA Regulations concerning recordability and workers' compensation
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and claims management software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in case management (CCM) or Occupational Health (COHN)
