1Source, an Examinetics company, is looking for a full-time Case Management EMT/Paramedic to join our team This role is on site at our Griffith, IN office and will be responsible for reviewing and managing worker's compensation claims. Working closely with healthcare providers, employers and insurance companies. This role involves evaluating medical documentation, providing updates to clients and key stakeholders, as well as collaborating with the medical provider to ensure the best possible outcome for employee and employer. On call hours are required on an as needed basis.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze medical records to evaluate for appropriate treatment
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their questions and concerns regarding their care and access to services.
  • Provide education and guidance to employees and employers, about treatment options, resources, and care processes.
  • Provide reports to employers with updates on current status of case.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance representatives to address case-related inquiries and issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of case management processes.
Job Qualifications:

Education/Employment:
  • Current and valid EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, or Paramedic certification in Indiana.
  • Completion of an accredited EMT or Paramedic training program and certification.
  • Proven experience in emergency medical services, with a strong understanding of medical documentation and case management.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and claims management software.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and insurance representatives.
