Telephonic Triage Nurse

At Examinetics, we are seeking a skilled Telephonic Triage RN to play a vital role in our workforce health team. This position is responsible for triaging employee incidents and determining the appropriate course of treatment for injured workers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of urgent care and emergency care practices, as well as proficiency in electronic health records systems. They will work closely with employees, employers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless access to care and optimize patient outcomes.

This role involves working on weekdays and weekends on an as-needed basis, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely follow-up with employees. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine employee needs and eligibility for services
• Ensure case progression and adherence to care plans
• Monitor and track employee progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee interactions and care plans

Requirements:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Either a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Work experience in a clinical setting, with a strong understanding of urgent care or emergency care practices
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology
