Job Overview

Alliance Technical Group is a leading provider of specialized air emissions monitoring services across the United States. Our Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) division is seeking an Environmental Management of Change (MOC) Technician. This role is pivotal in overseeing the LDAR inventory, managing maintenance tracking, updating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and completing essential MOC documentation and records. The MOC Technician will also conduct bi-monthly inventory audits, ensuring adherence to Bureau Veritas' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Health & Safety Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely and healthily, promoting safe work practices among team members.
  • Report any safety hazards, near misses, and injuries in accordance with established Health & Safety policies.
  • Act as the Alternate Site Safety Officer, leading safety meetings and participating in contractor safety forums.
  • Manage daily work assignments through the project site's data management system, ensuring efficient task distribution.
  • Document completed MOCs in the field and maintain accurate records in the LDAR database.
  • Generate and distribute necessary reports for leak notifications and outstanding issues as required.
  • Conduct visual inspections as per regulatory requirements and assist in Quality Assurance/Quality Control audits.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agency auditors to ensure compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Review calibration entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support re-monitoring of components when calibration issues arise.
  • Perform additional technician duties as required.

Compensation:

The starting pay for this position ranges from $20/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in LDAR monitoring programs is essential.
  • Experience in a mechanical work environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing, as well as working at heights, may be required.
  • Must be able to carry testing devices and tools weighing approximately 15-20 lbs.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be necessary during all outdoor work.
