About the Position

The Sales and Front Desk Associate is a key role at Scenthound, focused on selling memberships while providing exceptional service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Experience: Drive membership sales through health and wellness education and develop membership leads; follow up with potential members.
  • Customer Service: Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash drawer and be responsible for daily cash handling.
  • Sanitary and Cleaning Practices: Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices and keep the reception area clean and presentable.
Requirements
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience and confidence, with a focus on membership sales.
  • Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience in retail or restaurant settings.
  • Computer/Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in computer and technology systems.
  • Pet Industry Knowledge: A passion for dogs and dog health and wellness.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Smoke-Free Environment: Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.
Skills and Abilities
  • Confidence in Selling: Confidence in selling services and products.
  • Customer Connection: Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human) and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to learn Scenthound products and services to educate dog parents and speak to Scenthound values and culture.
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone).
  • Problem-Solving: Independently solve problems using Scenthound values and culture as a guide.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Accountability: Accountability and ability to hold oneself and others to Scenthound standards.
Compensation

$13.00 per hour
