We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team at Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and warehousing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including robotics, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, and CNC machines.
  • Perform electrical wiring and troubleshooting tasks to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and implement predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Manage tool and material inventory, and create maintenance activity reports for management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment setup, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Availability for afternoon and/or overnight shifts preferred.
  • Experience with PLC systems or tool and die repair a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance documents.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and time management ability.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a manufacturing and warehousing environment, with occasional exposure to loud noises, dust, and other hazardous materials. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds, and use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
