Bartenders are responsible for delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service of food and beverages, adhering to established quality and timing standards while ensuring a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with guests and colleagues in a warm and professional manner.
  • Punctually arrive for scheduled shifts, prepared to work.
  • Consistently wear the designated uniform while in work areas, including proper assembly and disassembly of the bar area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout the shift.
  • Prepare all beverages, garnishes, mixers, and syrups according to established recipes. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, continually enhancing your knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine.
  • Accurately and efficiently handle all cash and credit transactions, in line with company policies.
  • Ensure proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables.
  • Assist in pre-bussing and maintaining tables throughout the establishment.
  • Promptly communicate any questions or concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. Perform necessary opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations after each shift.
  • Prepare the team for success in the next shift.
  • Adhere to proper sanitation procedures and comply with regulations regarding alcohol service.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
  • Maintain beverage inventory at appropriate serving temperatures and restock the bar with necessary items before the end of each shift.
  • Assist in washing and restocking glassware for bar and guest use.
  • Keep records of spills and promotional comps.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and utensils necessary for job performance.
  • Report any equipment issues immediately to a supervisor.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, as well as the ability to mix and prepare drinks according to established recipes.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in using a knife and other equipment necessary for the role.
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification; adhere to proper sanitation practices and regulations regarding alcohol service.
