Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Specialist to join our team at AccentCare, Inc.

About the Role:

As a Personal Support Specialist, you will provide non-medical support to clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry
  • Provide medication reminders and other necessary interventions
  • Engage in conversation and activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Sufficient endurance to perform tasks during long work hours
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and assist with transfers
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
