About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to explain complex medical procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality Breast Imaging procedures according to exam protocol, in a timely manner.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exams are performed and establish rapport with patients.
  • Instruct and communicate with patients regarding the test to be performed and assess their ability to tolerate the exam.
  • Prepare patients and area for procedure by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into position, and adjusting equipment controls.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from an accredited program.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) licensure in the State of Texas.
  • ARRT-M Mammography and ARRT-R Radiography certifications.
