About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to explain complex medical procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality Breast Imaging procedures according to exam protocol, in a timely manner.
- Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
- Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exams are performed and establish rapport with patients.
- Instruct and communicate with patients regarding the test to be performed and assess their ability to tolerate the exam.
- Prepare patients and area for procedure by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into position, and adjusting equipment controls.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Graduation from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) licensure in the State of Texas.
- ARRT-M Mammography and ARRT-R Radiography certifications.
- Competitive salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience.
