Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Land Use Attorney to provide expert advice on complex land use matters, including zoning, environmental regulations, local project review statutes, and the Planning Enabling Act. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of land use laws and regulations, and a passion for environmental sustainability and community development.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise on complex land use matters, including environmental issues, local project review statutes, and the Planning Enabling Act.
  • Represent the organization in land use litigation and administrative proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate land use agreements, permits, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to land use law and policy.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations, and advise the organization on the potential impact.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to internal teams on land use laws and best practices.

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in land use law, with a focus on environmental issues, local project review statutes, and the Planning Enabling Act
- Proven track record in land use litigation and administrative proceedings
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical benefits, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
