Job Title: Professional Land Mobile Radio Technician

Job Summary:

J & K Communications, Inc. is seeking a skilled Professional Land Mobile Radio Technician to join our team in Columbia City, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, removing, and troubleshooting land mobile radio equipment, as well as mounting and connecting antennas, power supplies, and other radio components. Responsibilities:

• Installation and removal of new/existing land mobile radio equipment
• Mount and connect antennas, power supplies, and other radio components
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and post-installation
• Conduct testing and verification to ensure system functionality and performance
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools and power tool operation
• Basic working knowledge of Direct and Alternating electrical current
• Individuals should be an ambitious self-starter, punctual, and customer service oriented
• Have excellent documentation and strong team building skills

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' experience in the industry or similar industry is preferred
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools and power tool operation
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-hire drug screen/physical is a must
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to travel (overnights) when needed
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to prioritize and multitask
