Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Culinary Team Member to join our team at Crowne Plaza Midtown. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food standards and consistency in our dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the dishwasher machines and properly clean all dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils.
  • Restock supplies in the proper storage areas.
  • Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including cleaning and mopping of kitchen floors, walk-ins, and freezers, as well as managing trash, bottle, and recycling removal.
  • Support kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients.
  • Organize and label food items in storage closets, perform tasks like chopping ingredients, and sanitize your work station during and after service.
  • Maintain the sanitation and maintenance of a safe work and food prep environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Washington Food Handlers permit required, or ability to obtain one.
