Job Summary

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food standards and consistency in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the dishwasher machines and properly clean all dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils used in the kitchens, restaurants, and banquets.
  • Restock all supplies in the proper storage areas.
  • Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including cleaning and mopping of kitchen floors, walk-ins, and freezers, as well as managing trash, bottle, and recycling removal.
  • Provide a supportive role to kitchen staff in the preparation of meals and ingredients.
  • Organize and label food items in storage closets, perform tasks like chopping ingredients, and sanitize your work station during and after service.
  • Ensure preparation, plating, and presentation standards are maintained and safety standards and regulations are followed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Washington Food Handlers permit required, or ability to obtain one.
