About the Role

Nasdaq is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our ESG Advisory practice, helping companies navigate the complexities of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Advise clients on greenhouse gas (GHG) footprinting projects and decarbonization strategy development, including setting science-based targets and conducting TCFD workshops
  • Deliver complex climate change support and analytical projects across various markets
  • Demonstrate advanced industry knowledge and ESG expertise
  • Own strategic year-in-review assessments for all client engagements
  • Build productive relationships with team members and conduct research in quantitative and qualitative formats
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience in corporate GHG emissions accounting across multiple sectors
  • Proficiency in calculating and reporting scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, with experience in key topic areas such as setting inventory boundaries, accounting for renewable energy, and supply chain emissions
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting GHG inventories with organizations across various sectors
  • Experience developing science-based targets and decarbonization strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of life cycle assessments and product carbon footprints
  • Familiarity with carbon accounting and reporting standards and programs
